Your privacy and security while using our web site are our top concern! All customer information, including transaction details, are maintained in strictest confidence. We do not share customer names, addresses, or other information with any other company or organization for any reason. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about our policies. SITE SECURITY

We use 128 Bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect the security of your online order information. SSL encrypts your order information to avoid the decoding of that information by anyone other than RVF Garden Supply. To check the security of your connection, look at the lower left-hand corner of your browser window after accessing the server. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending on your browser), SSL is active. You can also double-check by looking at the URL line of your browser: when accessing a secure server, the first characters of the site address will change from "http://" to "https://" Some versions of browsers and some firewalls don't permit communication through secure servers. In that case, you'll be unable to connect to the server, which means you won't be able to mistakenly place an order through an unsecured connection.

CREDIT CARD ORDERS

We verify the cardholder's name and address information with the card issuing bank for all credit card orders (including Visa or Mastercard debit cards). We will ship to a address other than the billing address, but we will call to verify the transaction. This helps to protect both of us from costly credit card fraud. We require a daytime telephone number on all credit card sales in case we need to contact you by phone about the transaction. All credit card sales are subject to RVF Garden Supply approval.

MAILING LIST

RVF Garden Supply offers you the option to sign up for our e-mail mailing list. If you do not sign up for the mailing list, no e-mails will be sent to you. If you subscribe to the mailing list, you can also unsubscribe at any time. RVF Garden Supply holds our mailing list in confidence, and we do not share our mailing list with anyone for any reason. No credit card numbers or other sensitive information will ever be sent using unsecured e-mail. For online orders, we require an e-mail address for communicating with you about the order. You will receive an order confirmation when the order ships, as well as any other communication directly related to your order. We will not automatically add you to our mailing list without your permission.
